Grocery lists are not usually created in one perfect sitting. Someone remembers eggs. Someone else remembers nappies. Then someone is already at the store. GroceryMaster keeps that messy real-life flow simple.

Build one living list
Everyone in the household adds items to the same shared list. No screenshots, no message chains, no forgotten notes stuck in another app.

Add milk to Woolworths, batteries to Bunnings, or leave something under Any. The list stays flexible because real shopping is flexible.

Shopping Mode gives the person in the store a cleaner view, shows who added what, and helps avoid duplicate items before they happen.
Why I created it
Because groceries are shared work.
GroceryMaster started from a simple household problem: grocery lists are alive. They change during the day, while people are busy, while someone is already at the shop, and while someone else suddenly remembers what the house is missing.
Most grocery apps treat the list like a static checklist. But families do not work like that. One person starts the list, another person edits it, someone moves an item to a different shop, and the person shopping needs the clearest possible view while walking through the aisles.
I wanted GroceryMaster to feel less like a spreadsheet and more like a living board on the fridge: fast, visual, shared, and easy to understand without thinking too much.
The goal is not to organise everything in your life. The goal is to make groceries feel lighter for the people doing them every week.
What makes it different
Not another generic checklist.
GroceryMaster is focused on household grocery flow: shared lists, shops, pantry reminders, duplicate warnings, and Shopping Mode.
Duplicate warnings
If someone already added eggs, the app can warn you before you add egg again. You can discard or continue.
Shopping Mode
A focused mode for the person actually inside the store, with less noise and more space for the list.
Pantry magnets
Keep important household items visible, like coffee, nappies, rice, pet food, or cleaning supplies.
Shop-aware lists
Items can belong to different shops, so one family list can still support how people really buy things.

GroceryMaster is designed so one subscription can sponsor a family group. Solo lists stay free, while shared household features are supported by one active group subscription.

GroceryMaster is designed to help families and households manage shared grocery lists, pantry items, shops, and shopping sessions. This policy describes the information used to provide these features. The sections below describe version 2.0, including TestFlight builds. If you use version 1.x, please also read the earlier-version section: its services and data handling differ.
Who operates Grocery Master
Grocery Master is operated by GAMA Dynamics. This policy covers the Grocery Master app and its household service. Version 2.0 uses GAMA Identity, the shared sign-in service used by GAMA products.
Account and household information
GAMA Identity stores your account identifier and verified sign-in provider details, including an email address when your provider supplies one. Grocery Master stores your account identifier, display name, household role and membership, invitations, selected shops and preferences. We use this information to authenticate you and control access to your household.
Groceries and shopping activity
The Grocery backend stores Living List entries, quantities, labels and household-created item names; Pantry items and expiry estimates; shopping sessions and purchase history used for Buy Again and household activity. Household members with access can see shared groceries and relevant member activity. The app also keeps local caches so it can display recently loaded information.
Child Accounts and devices
A household owner creates and manages Child Accounts, including a display name and paired devices. Child Accounts do not require a separate GAMA identity or email address. The service stores pairing and device authorization records and child grocery activity. A child device PIN is protected locally; it is not sent to the Grocery backend. The owner can revoke a device or disable a Child Account.
Notifications and camera
If notifications are enabled, Grocery Master stores an installation identifier, Apple push token, device environment and notification preference to deliver household shopping alerts through Apple Push Notification service. Camera access is used to scan invitation and pairing QR codes on your device.
Subscriptions and Apple verification
Apple processes App Store payments; Grocery Master does not receive card details. The backend verifies Apple-signed purchase and renewal information and stores product, transaction and original transaction identifiers, an app account token, purchase and expiry dates, renewal, grace-period and revocation information, and account ownership bindings. One purchaser sponsors a Grocery household through our backend. Apple subscription Family Sharing is not used. If sponsorship becomes inactive, shared access pauses while household memberships and paired devices remain in place.
Services and diagnostics
Version 2.0 uses GAMA Identity and the Grocery backend with PostgreSQL storage. Apple provides Sign in with Apple, App Store purchase services and push delivery. The GAMA Identity and Grocery services are hosted on Railway. These services and their hosting infrastructure process the information needed to operate the app. Version 2.0 does not integrate Firebase authentication, Firebase storage or Firebase crash reporting. Authentication diagnostics and service logs support operation and troubleshooting; service request logs may include network addresses and request metadata. Version 2.0 does not include an advertising or third-party analytics SDK.
Deletion and retention
You can request deletion in Settings. Deleting an owner account removes its Grocery household and shared data; deleting an adult member account removes that membership and personal association while the household stays with its owner. Historical contributions may remain with the household under a former-member label. Grocery deletion revokes its Apple authorization where applicable and clears local account credentials and caches after server confirmation. You may need to confirm your Apple account, and an interrupted request may need retrying. The shared GAMA identity and data in other GAMA products are not deleted. Trial, subscription ownership and verification records, and deletion security receipts are retained to prevent trial resets, transaction reassignment and reuse of old Grocery sessions. An Apple revocation credential is encrypted while a deletion attempt is pending and removed after successful revocation. Deleting Grocery Master does not cancel an App Store subscription; manage it in your Apple subscription settings.
Earlier versions (1.x)
Version 1.x uses Firebase for authentication, cloud storage, household syncing and crash diagnostics. It may store your display name, user identifier, group membership, grocery lists, selected shops, pantry items and subscription status. These records support shared lists, attribution of shopping activity, group invitations and subscription access. The 1.1 build also includes Firebase Analytics components. The version 2.0 statements about GAMA Identity, Railway, Apple authorization revocation and the absence of Firebase or analytics SDKs do not describe version 1.x. Apple processes App Store payments; GroceryMaster does not store credit card details. Contact us about access to or deletion of data from an earlier version.
